The Mary Branch Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is actively involved in working to improve the school in many areas. The PTO's dedication and hard work is evident in the many programs they sponsor.
The purpose of the PTO is to provide support for the faculty and students of Mary Branch. The scope of its work is primarily assistance and fundraising in support of all academic areas of the school.
With an annual registration fee of $5.00, all parents and teachers of Mary Branch can become members of the PTO; however, all parents, teachers and students benefit from the efforts of PTO. The parents and the teachers work together for the betterment of the school and for the greater success of its students.
The PTO executive board consists of parents, nominated by the parents and teachers, elected to serve as officers and three teachers appointed by the principal. The officers are President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. All projects and activities of the PTO are dedicated by the majority vote of the executive board. Information concerning election, duties and responsibilities is printed in the PTO by-laws and is available upon request.
Meetings are generally held on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30pm in the school library. If there is an interest in attending a meeting during the day or in the evening, these can be arranged.
